We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for the upcoming school year in Tallapoosa, Georgia. This position is available following the retirement of a long-standing veteran SLP and offers the opportunity to step into an established program serving students across multiple school sites.
Position Highlights
- 30 hours per week
- Work schedule: Tuesday–Thursday
- Coverage across 4 school sites
- Schools are conveniently located within 8 miles of one another
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Georgia SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
