We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for the upcoming school year in Tallapoosa, Georgia. This position is available following the retirement of a long-standing veteran SLP and offers the opportunity to step into an established program serving students across multiple school sites.

Position Highlights

  • 30 hours per week
  • Work schedule: Tuesday–Thursday
  • Coverage across 4 school sites
  • Schools are conveniently located within 8 miles of one another

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Georgia SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) 
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
