Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) to make a meaningful impact in a school setting near Talpa, TX. This full-time contract position will cover the 2026-2027 school year, working with an engaging K-8th grade caseload of approximately 50 students.

As part of a supportive educational team, you’ll deliver direct speech and language services, collaborate with teachers and families, and help students gain the communication skills they need to succeed. Whether you are an experienced SLP-CCC, Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY), or a dedicated SLPA looking to contribute in a dynamic school environment, this role may be the perfect fit.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLP applicants), or associate/bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program (for SLPA applicants)
  • Valid and current state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Experience in school-based pediatrics or willingness to work with K-8 students
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFYs encouraged to apply
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse communication needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to students with a variety of needs, in individual and group settings
  • Conduct evaluations, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to create effective therapeutic strategies
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing training as needed
