Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong consideration for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
  • Prior experience with elementary-aged students is a plus
  • Solid collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide intervention for speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children
  • Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) alongside teachers, families, and school teams
  • Deliver individualized and classroom-based therapy services tailored to student needs
  • Provide comprehensive documentation, maintain progress records, and adhere to state and federal guidelines
  • Contribute actively during IEP meetings and work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary support teams
