Make a real impact in students’ lives as a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position focuses on serving an elementary caseload, offering the chance to support young learners’ communication and academic growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, parents, and other educational staff
  • Deliver direct therapy services as well as provide classroom-based support when appropriate
  • Maintain thorough documentation and accurate progress reports in line with all applicable state and federal requirements
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences to optimize each student’s support plan

Qualifications sought:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Virginia SLP license, or eligibility to obtain one
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children is a plus
