Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience in a pediatric, healthcare, or school setting is a plus
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, families, and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide targeted speech and language therapy for students
  • Serve as a collaborative team member with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
  • Offer consultation and training to other staff as needed
  • Participate in professional development and ongoing education
