Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
- CCC-SLP certification preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in a pediatric, healthcare, or school setting is a plus
- Ability to develop rapport with students, families, and colleagues
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide targeted speech and language therapy for students
- Serve as a collaborative team member with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
- Offer consultation and training to other staff as needed
- Participate in professional development and ongoing education
