Exciting opportunities are available for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) seeking both full-time and maternity leave roles in a dynamic school setting. This contract position is based near Taunton, MA, and offers the chance to make a tangible difference in students’ lives while working within a supportive educational community.

Ideal candidates will bring at least two to three years of experience following ASHA certification. Your expertise will be essential in serving students with a variety of communication needs and in supporting the professional growth of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credentials with valid ASHA certification (minimum of 2-3 years post-certification experience).
  • Demonstrated success in school-based environments.
  • Comfortable working with diverse student populations and varying communication challenges.
  • Experience with evaluating students for special education eligibility, both initial and re-evaluations.
  • Strong organizational skills, with proficiency in data collection, progress reporting, and IEP documentation.
  • Ability to supervise SLPAs, provide instructional feedback, and oversee clinical operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned student caseloads, adapting as needs or enrollment fluctuate.
  • Conduct and document special education eligibility assessments and participate in IEP meetings, sharing evaluation findings and recommendations.
  • Write and update individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
  • Guide, mentor, and supervise SLPAs in treatment delivery, documentation, and progress tracking.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' success.
