This contract position is available for a dedicated professional devoted to enhancing communication skills and supporting pre-kindergarten students at an early learning and literacy center. The school is interviewing immediately for a start as soon as possible, continuing through late May.
You'll work full-time on-site, collaborating with another experienced SLP for ample support. The caseload will focus on pre-K students, allowing for a specialized and highly impactful approach to language development and early intervention.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid, active professional Speech Language Pathologist license
- Experience working in school settings is strongly preferred but not mandatory
- Comfort working with pre-kindergarten age students
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Team spirit and willingness to collaborate with fellow clinicians and educators
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted therapy to address communication challenges in young students
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to support optimal student outcomes
- Participate in school meetings and professional development as required
