Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) license
- Experience working with students in Grades K-12 (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for a variety of communication disorders
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to create individualized therapy plans that address students’ unique needs
- Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEP development a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students across all grade levels
- Deliver evidence-based interventions in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
- Provide resources and strategies to families and educators to support student development
