Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) license
  • Experience working with students in Grades K-12 (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) preferred
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills for a variety of communication disorders
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to create individualized therapy plans that address students’ unique needs
  • Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEP development a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students across all grade levels
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
  • Provide resources and strategies to families and educators to support student development
