Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to effectively manage caseloads and documentation to meet district and federal regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings for students referred for SLP or OT services
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals based on student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions using evidence-based strategies and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support learning objectives
  • Maintain thorough, accurate records and reports in compliance with school policies
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for student success
  • Provide consultations and resources to teachers and caregivers as needed
