Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. Your expertise can make a tangible difference, helping students thrive academically and socially in a collaborative school environment. This position follows a convenient Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00am to 3:30pm, for a total of 37.5 hours each week, and runs from August 13, 2026, through May 28, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • School-based SLP experience, particularly with elementary and middle school age groups
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability to work effectively onsite
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families in developing student success plans

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students, onsite only
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine individual student needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with the educational team
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical insights for comprehensive student support
  • Provide consultative support to teachers and caregivers to maximize student achievement
  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality requirements throughout service delivery
