This full-time opportunity spans from August 13, 2026, through May 28, 2027, operating Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, for a total of 37.5 hours weekly.
You'll work with a dynamic and supportive school team, providing comprehensive speech-language services to a diverse caseload of students. Perfect for SLPs seeking an onsite position where their skills truly make a difference, this assignment welcomes both experienced clinicians with CCC and those holding SLP-CF certification, as long as you have an active North Carolina license.
What we’re looking for:
- Current, active North Carolina SLP license (SLP-CF considered)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but SLP-CFs welcome
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary and middle school populations
- Familiarity with school-based SLP practice, including IEP development and collaboration with educators and families
- Dedication to delivering services onsite; remote work is not available for this role
- Strong interpersonal communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and delivering therapy to students with speech and language needs
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing collaboration and consultation with teachers, parents, and school staff to facilitate student success
- Documenting services and student progress according to school and regulatory requirements
- Attending team meetings and contributing to a positive school environment
