Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Skills in 1:1 therapy sessions as well as group sessions
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and write evidence-based intervention plans
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
- Work 1:1 with students as well as provide support in classroom or small group settings
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP developments
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student participation
- Maintain timely and accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with school and state guidelines
