Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students' communication needs as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Two full-time opportunities are currently open for dedicated SLPs holding the CCC credential. You'll play a key part in nurturing language and social skills for young learners, working within an engaging elementary school environment. Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Holds current Speech-Language Pathology license in South Dakota
  • SLP-CCC credential required
  • Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and IEP development
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students across one or two nearby locations
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech/language disorders
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP implementation
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Provide input and strategies for classroom teachers to foster inclusive communication environments
  • Offer support and guidance to parents and caregivers related to student therapy goals
