Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students in elementary and pre-K settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This on-site opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 2027, working directly with a diverse caseload of 50-60 students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience in elementary and/or early childhood settings preferred
- Solid understanding of school-based speech therapy practices, procedures, and Medicaid billing
- Familiarity with writing and participating in IEP meetings
- Comfortable working 1:1 and with small groups of students
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet a wide range of student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to elementary and some pre-K students onsite
- Conduct evaluations and standardized testing to determine eligibility and service needs
- Collaborate in IEP meetings, write comprehensive reports and goals, and ensure compliance
- Utilize Medicaid billing systems effectively
- Develop engaging therapy sessions individually and in small groups
- Monitor student progress; adjust therapy plans as required for optimal outcomes
