Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students in elementary and pre-K settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This on-site opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 2027, working directly with a diverse caseload of 50-60 students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. You’ll have the chance to work closely with students, teachers, and families to foster meaningful communication growth and make an impactful difference each day.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience in elementary and/or early childhood settings preferred
  • Solid understanding of school-based speech therapy practices, procedures, and Medicaid billing
  • Familiarity with writing and participating in IEP meetings
  • Comfortable working 1:1 and with small groups of students
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet a wide range of student needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to elementary and some pre-K students onsite
  • Conduct evaluations and standardized testing to determine eligibility and service needs
  • Collaborate in IEP meetings, write comprehensive reports and goals, and ensure compliance
  • Utilize Medicaid billing systems effectively
  • Develop engaging therapy sessions individually and in small groups
  • Monitor student progress; adjust therapy plans as required for optimal outcomes
