Seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to bring expertise and enthusiasm to a school community for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. With a caseload of approximately 50 students, your knowledge and care can make a real difference for a diverse, energetic group of learners. Ideal candidates will hold CCC or CFY credentials and have hands-on experience in school settings, with additional strength in administering and supporting Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. As an integral part of the special education team, your role will be vital in helping students maximize their communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC or eligibility for CFY
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Proficiency in evaluation, IEP development, and therapy planning
- Experience or strong interest in working with AAC devices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and students
- Passion for supporting pediatric populations of varying communication needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Implement therapy plans in individual and group settings
- Train staff and provide support around AAC device use
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents and school teams
- Document progress and participate in eligibility and planning meetings
