Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active or eligible SLP state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices a strong asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Maintain and manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, ensuring individualized care
  • Implement and monitor therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and re-evaluations, documenting progress
  • Incorporate AAC devices in therapy sessions for eligible students
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
