This contract opportunity offers the chance to work fully onsite in a vibrant learning environment serving a diverse student body of approximately 3,650 students. As a valued SLP, you’ll deliver expertise and care to students across a range of needs—from general education to moderate and severe disabilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Possession of SLP licensure and current CCCs
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
- Effective communication and collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to adapt to a varied caseload and grade levels (TK–5th at elementary; 9th–12th at high school)
- Commitment to onsite-only service delivery at assigned school sites
What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized speech and language therapy direct services to students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain required documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals
- Communicate regularly with families and educational staff about student progress
- Attend professional meetings and participate in district initiatives
- Serve at both Rosamond Elementary and Rosamond High Early College Campus
