K-5 Grades 9 - 12 Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy - New Mexico

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services catering to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy services to support communication development and address speech disorders within school-aged populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive telespeech therapy sessions tailored to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language impairments using virtual platforms.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure therapy aligns with academic goals.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to promote effective communication skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and student outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Demonstrated experience providing telespeech therapy, preferably with school-aged children.
• Familiarity with speech and language development across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educational personnel.
• Ability to use teletherapy platforms and digital tools efficiently.
