A remote opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide part-time school-year services in a virtual setting. This 0.5 FTE contract position involves supporting approximately 30 students and offers a flexible work-from-home schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services aligned with individual student needs and IEP requirements in a school-based context
- Conduct initial and reevaluation assessments, preparing detailed evaluation reports
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain comprehensive, accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary school team meetings
- Collaborate with educators, special education staff, families, and related service providers to support student outcomes
- Supervise and provide clinical guidance to a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Ensure compliance with state licensure standards and special education regulations
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the school team and clinical support personnel
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable
- Experience with school-based assessments and IEP development strongly preferred
- Prior experience supervising an SLPA is desirable
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
