Speech Language Pathologist Work From Home | Washington

A remote opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide part-time school-year services in a virtual setting. This 0.5 FTE contract position involves supporting approximately 30 students and offers a flexible work-from-home schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language services aligned with individual student needs and IEP requirements in a school-based context
• Conduct initial and reevaluation assessments, preparing detailed evaluation reports
• Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and maintain comprehensive, accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary school team meetings
• Collaborate with educators, special education staff, families, and related service providers to support student outcomes
• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Ensure compliance with state licensure standards and special education regulations
• Maintain clear and effective communication with the school team and clinical support personnel

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable
• Experience with school-based assessments and IEP development strongly preferred
• Prior experience supervising an SLPA is desirable
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
