Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in AL

This contract opportunity seeks a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services for students in grades K-3. The focus will be on delivering effective speech-language support remotely, leveraging telepractice techniques to enhance student communication skills.

Location: Bessemer, AL
Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week
Duration: August 10 through May 21

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct teletherapy sessions with K-3rd grade students to address speech and language goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and student performance
• Utilize telepractice tools to engage students effectively and monitor outcomes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience delivering speech-language services in a school setting
• Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage young children virtually
• Familiarity with specialized strategies for K-3 age group speech and language development
