A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy services for K-3rd grade students. This role involves delivering telespeech therapy focused on school-aged children, utilizing evidence-based practices to support communication development.
Location: Bessemer, AL
Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week
Duration: August 10 through May 21
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech-language pathology services via teletherapy to K-3 students
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and tracking progress
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with educational standards
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience delivering teletherapy services, preferably in school settings
- Familiarity with providing services to early elementary students (K-3rd grade)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
