This role offers the opportunity to provide virtual speech-language pathology services for a school district in Fort Myers, FL. The position supports the Lee Virtual School, focusing on homebound students with telespeech and teletherapy interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual speech-language pathology services to students who are homebound.
- Utilize telespeech and teletherapy techniques tailored to students’ individual needs.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress according to district guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all credentialing and licensing requirements for speech-language pathology.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health SLP license.
- Experience conducting speech therapy via telepractice methods.
- Ability to work part-time, approximately 15 hours per week (two days per week, 7.5 hours per day).
- Familiarity with Florida’s fingerprinting and credentialing procedures, including access to AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to complete necessary verification and JLA badge application.

- Remote services provided to students in Fort Myers, FL.
Contract Details:
- Part-time virtual contract position supporting a school district from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
