Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in CT

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services through telepractice to support the communication development of students within a school environment. This contract role is based in Bridgeport, CT, and involves collaboration with educational staff to deliver effective and individualized therapy plans remotely.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments via telepractice platforms
• Developing and implementing tailored therapy interventions to address students’ speech and language goals
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure successful outcomes
• Communicating regularly with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ educational plans
• Documenting therapy sessions thoroughly in compliance with school policies and regulations

Qualifications and experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure with eligibility to practice in Connecticut
• Experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting, preferably through telepractice
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development and evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Proficiency using telecommunication platforms and related technology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff
