This contract opportunity is designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting. The position begins on September 21st and continues through May 21st, offering approximately 35 hours per week. Workdays run from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., serving a caseload of 40-50 students at a single school location.
Key responsibilities include delivering speech-language therapy services across a diverse pediatric population using evidence-based practices. The role incorporates both direct therapy and consultation to support students' communication development within the academic environment. Experience with teletherapy may be utilized to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within school-based settings
- Proficiency in telespeech or teletherapy modalities
- Familiarity with healthcare and education regulations related to speech-language services
- Prior experience working in Wisconsin schools is highly valued and considered advantageous
