A contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist serving K-12 students across multiple school locations in Burlington, NC. This full-time role involves providing specialized speech and language services to a diverse caseload throughout the academic year, from late August to early June.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language assessments and individualized therapy for students spanning kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement effective communication interventions.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Attend relevant meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts onsite.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience providing speech-language services within a school setting.
- Proficiency with telespeech platforms, though this role is onsite only.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple educational settings.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, averaging 35 hours per week.
- Onsite presence required at various schools within Burlington, NC.
