This opportunity seeks a Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide telespeech and teletherapy services for students in a virtual school environment. The position is part-time, supporting students who are homebound within a virtual school setting.

Location: Cape Coral, FL (supporting Lee Virtual School in Fort Myers, FL)
Contract Duration: August 11, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Schedule: 2 days per week, 7.5 hours per day (15 hours total weekly)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver virtual speech language therapy sessions to homebound students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to therapy sessions and student outcomes
  • Adhere to all relevant school district policies and telehealth regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health SLP license
  • Experience with telespeech and teletherapy in an educational context preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment, managing remote caseloads
  • Completion of required fingerprinting and credentialing through Florida AHCA Clearinghouse or current clearance status transferable via JLA badge

This contract requires compliance with district-specific credentialing protocols, including fingerprint verification and badge issuance, which may take up to two weeks for clearance.
