A contract position is available for a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students in grades 5 and 6. This role focuses on delivering teletherapy services to a diverse caseload, incorporating both speech-only and speech-as-related services.
Location: Virtual services based in Danville, IL
Assignment Dates: August 17, 2026 – June 4, 2027
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 60 students from a range of educational settings, including general education and severe life skills programs
- Providing virtual push-in support for severe needs students and pull-out therapy for self-contained students
- Collaborating with paraprofessional facilitators and virtual psychologists to enhance student support
- Overseeing case management for about 20 students, ensuring individualized education plans and therapy goals are effectively implemented
Preferred qualifications:
- Current, active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Active Licensed Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS1) credential
- Experience delivering telespeech and teletherapy services in a school setting
- Ability to manage a mixed caseload of speech and language needs across grade levels and ability levels
