A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available, specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting. This role is based in Columbus, GA, and will support middle and high school students in a full-time capacity throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services using teletherapy methods to meet students’ individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Schedule, attend, and actively participate in IEP meetings.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for IEP meetings, including daily service logs.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure compliance with educational standards and student progress tracking.
- Provide services across middle and high school levels, adapting therapy approaches as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Valid Georgia Educator Certification for Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Proven experience delivering virtual speech therapy within educational settings.
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads, scheduling, and record keeping.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational teams.
Work Schedule and Duration:
- Full-time commitment, at least 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract length runs from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with possible additional planning days before and after.
