Texas Licensure Requirements

Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered if appropriately licensed as a Texas SLP Intern and supervision requirements are met
Eligibility to provide school-based speech-language services in Texas public school settings
Clear background check in accordance with Texas school district and state requirements

Qualifications

School-based SLP experience preferred
Familiarity with IEP development, ARD meetings, and progress monitoring
Comfortable delivering teletherapy via virtual platform
Preferred: 2+ years of school-based experience

Interview Process

10–15 minute phone screening
15 minute technology assessment
20–30 minute virtual interview with the district
Offer issued within 24–48 hours
