An opportunity is available for a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist supporting 5th and 6th grade students in a remote school setting. This contract role runs from mid-August 2026 through early June 2027 and serves a diverse caseload ranging from general education to severe needs students.

Location:

  • Danville, Illinois (virtual service delivery)

Caseload and Responsibilities:

  • Manage approximately 60 students combining speech-only therapy and speech as a related service
  • Provide virtual push-in support for students with severe needs and pull-out sessions for self-contained classrooms
  • Serve students across a spectrum of abilities including life skills programs
  • Oversee case management for about 20 students
  • Collaborate with a paraprofessional facilitator and virtual psychologist to coordinate services and interventions

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Current Licensed Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) credential
  • Experience delivering teletherapy services effectively to school-aged children
  • Skills in managing varied caseloads and implementing individualized therapy plans
