Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Work From Home | Michigan

This virtual speech-language pathologist position offers an opportunity to provide teletherapy services to a diverse K-12 student population in Michigan. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 11, 2027, with a commitment of 20 hours per week and a potential to increase hours based on need. The school environment embraces virtual providers and supports remote service delivery with dedicated spaces and staff assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver virtual speech-language pathology services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with onsite staff who assist in pulling and monitoring students during sessions.
• Utilize the PowerSchools system to access IEP information; training on this platform will be provided.
• Develop and maintain student schedules ensuring effective service delivery.
• Support a culturally and linguistically diverse student body, many of whom are first-year English language learners with various dialects of Arabic.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Experience with teletherapy and telespeech service delivery methods.
• Previous work in school-based settings preferred.
• Comfort working with diverse populations, including multilingual and multi-religious students.
• Ability to adapt to virtual systems and collaborate effectively with onsite personnel.
