A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech services within an educational setting in Dover, PA. This position serves multiple classrooms including two Autistic Support classrooms and one Learning Support classroom, supporting a total of 56 students across three schools. The assignment is expected to run through the end of May 2027.

Key job elements include:

  • Delivering speech-language therapy services onsite or through teletherapy.
  • Collaborating with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) if working virtually, as virtual SLP-only arrangements are not accepted.
  • Providing support for students in Autistic Support and Learning Support programs, with caseloads of approximately 8-30 students per site.
  • Maintaining compliance with all certification and supervision requirements.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Current PA Speech-Language Pathology Certification.
  • Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered if supervision fees are arranged.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly those in special education programs.
  • Ability to work onsite or via teletherapy with SLPA support.
  • Submission of a current resume upfront.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide individualized therapy.
  • Collaborate with classroom staff and education professionals to support student goals.
  • Document services accurately and timely.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed.
