A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing services across grades K-12. This contract role involves delivering comprehensive speech therapy utilizing both in-person and teletherapy methods. The position is based in Falls Church, VA, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 30-40 students with diverse speech and language needs
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering targeted interventions
- Providing teletherapy sessions in addition to onsite services, ensuring continuity and accessibility of care
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in school-based settings working with K-12 populations
- Proficiency in delivering teletherapy services effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage students and adapt therapy approaches to meet individual needs
