A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position serving middle and high school students in Columbus, GA. This role focuses on virtual and on-site speech therapy services within a public school setting, requiring expertise in teletherapy as well as traditional speech-language pathology practices.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Preparing necessary documentation and paperwork related to IEPs
- Providing speech-language services to middle and high school students
- Completing daily logs to document therapy services delivered
- Collaborating with school personnel to support student communication goals
Required qualifications and experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Georgia Educator Certification for Speech-Language Pathologists
- Demonstrated experience providing school-based teletherapy services
- Ability to manage caseloads that include middle and high school students
- Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed and timely records
Position details:
- Location: Columbus, GA
- Duration: August 3, 2026 – May 21, 2027 (with potential pre/post planning days)
- Hours: Full-time, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
