A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming academic year, serving middle and high school students through a combination of onsite and teletherapy services. This contract role demands a commitment of at least 37.5 hours per week from August 3rd, 2026, through May 21st, 2027, with potential additional planning days before and after the term.
Located in the Columbus, GA area, this role focuses on providing Speech-Language Pathology services via telepractice at the middle and high school levels. Responsibilities include scheduling and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and preparing the required documentation. Candidates will be expected to maintain daily logs to document all services provided.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering SLP services through teletherapy platforms.
- Managing and attending IEP meetings in compliance with educational regulations.
- Maintaining meticulous documentation and daily service logs.
- Collaborating with school personnel and families to support student progress.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- An active Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- A Georgia Educator Certificate for Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Proven experience in school-based speech-language services, including teletherapy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseloads and IEP processes effectively.
