A full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, providing services to K-12 students. This position is contract-based and located in Frankfort, IN. The role involves delivering both direct and indirect speech therapy services within the school setting, focusing on support for a diverse student population from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing therapy sessions using in-person and telespeech methods
- Collaborating with educators and staff to support student communication needs
- Maintaining accurate records and progress reports in compliance with educational guidelines
Qualifications and desired skills:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
- Experience working in school environments with K-12 students
- Ability to deliver telespeech services effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality speech therapy services in schools
Additional position details:
- Guaranteed hours with compensation for both direct and indirect services
- No additional district duties such as bus duty or parent pickup outside scheduled hours
- Travel therapists are eligible for stipends
