A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and traditional school-based services. This position focuses on delivering speech-language support to students in grades 3 through 5, ages 8 to 11.

Location:

  • Greenville, AL

Assignment Details:

  • Contract duration: Immediate start through 05/21/2027
  • Weekly hours: 35
  • Caseload: Approximately 35 students
  • Schools served: Greenville Elementary School and Greenville Middle School
  • Student population: Grades 3-5, ages 8 to 11

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students via teletherapy and in-person sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student communication goals
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs of elementary-aged children

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification according to state requirements
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children, specifically grades 3-5
  • Proficiency in telespeech and remote therapy platforms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school personnel
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 35 students
