Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in LA

An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy to support student needs in Harvey, Louisiana. This full-time contract position runs from ASAP through May 27, 2027, offering a structured schedule of 35 hours per week, with seven-hour workdays including a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide telepractice speech-language pathology services to students within the district using telespeech and teletherapy platforms.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements.
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote student progress and communication development.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Current and active Louisiana state license as an SLP.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Experience delivering teletherapy services in educational settings preferred.
• Ability to complete district credentialing forms promptly.
