A Speech Language Pathologist licensed in Maryland is needed to provide telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting. This contract position is based in Hyattsville, MD, and involves working under Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. The role spans the academic year from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering approximately 35 hours per week, structured as three full days for part-time arrangements.

Key responsibilities include managing varying caseloads that adjust with the academic calendar. Caseload sizes range up to 40 students at the elementary level, about 48 in middle school, and peak at 57 students, with the initial caseload expected to be smaller. The supervisor will tailor assignments based on individual skills and geographic location to ensure appropriate caseload management.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Valid Maryland SLP license
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Minimum of three years’ post-COVID virtual school-based experience within the past five years
  • Ability to maintain compliance with time-sensitive credentialing including background checks
  • Comfortable working full days on specified three-day schedules
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to support teletherapy delivery
