Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in MO

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in in-person school-based services within a middle school setting in Kansas City, MO. This role focuses on providing speech therapy support to students, with a specific emphasis on traditional speech therapy methods rather than VOCO or augmentative communication devices at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person speech-language pathology services to middle school students.
• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student communication outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports throughout the contract period.
• Provide support during maternity leave coverage from August 17, 2026, through November 12, 2026.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification to practice as an SLP in Missouri.
• Experience providing school-based speech therapy services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and families.
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.
• Familiarity with middle school educational environments preferred.
