An opening is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-person therapy services in a middle school setting located in Kansas City, MO. This contracted position begins on August 17, 2026, and concludes on November 12, 2026, supporting students during a maternity leave absence.
Responsibilities include administering speech and language evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering direct speech therapy services in accordance with students’ educational goals. This role requires strong collaboration with educators and staff to support each student’s communication development. Telespeech services are not part of this assignment, and the use of VOCO devices is currently not required.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure appropriate for school settings
- Proven experience providing in-person speech therapy services within middle school populations
- Familiarity with educational speech-language best practices and individualized education program (IEP) processes
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within a school environment
- Flexibility to cover a temporary maternity leave assignment
