A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy services within a K-12 school setting. This assignment is based in Lake Placid, NY, and is offered on a per diem basis for the current school year.
Key qualifications and skills include:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience in delivering specialized speech therapy services via teletherapy.
- Familiarity with school-based speech-language pathology services across K-12 grade levels.
- Effective communication and assessment skills tailored for remote therapy delivery.
Primary responsibilities encompass:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations, progress monitoring, and individualized therapy sessions through teletherapy platforms.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to support student communication goals.
- Documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with school and state requirements.
- Planning and implementing therapy strategies that address diverse speech and language needs in a virtual environment.

- This per diem opportunity allows for flexibility in scheduling while providing essential speech therapy services remotely.
- Relevant Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility for practice is a requirement.
