Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist | Louisiana

A full-time contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting in Metairie, LA. This role involves delivering remote speech therapy services tailored to support students' communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide teletherapy speech-language pathology services to students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
• Collaborate with educators and families remotely to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district policies.
• Complete required district credentialing and HR forms promptly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is required.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Position Details:

• Location: Metairie, LA (Harvey area).
• Employment Type: Contract.
• Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
• Contract Period: August 3, 2026 – May 27, 2027.
• Caseload and specific school assignments will be determined.
• Compliance with time-sensitive credentialing requirements for the school district is essential.
