Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - LA

A full-time speech-language pathology contract opportunity is available focusing on teletherapy services within school settings. The position is based in Harvey, LA, near New Orleans, and requires delivering telespeech and teletherapy services to students in the Jefferson Parish School District. The contract term extends from the start date through May 27, 2027.

Key responsibilities include providing speech-language pathology evaluations and treatment virtually, collaborating with educators and support staff to develop individualized plans, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with district requirements. The position involves a 35-hour workweek, with 7 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Qualifications for this role include:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Louisiana state license, as well as licensure in the candidate’s current state of residence
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery in educational settings is preferred
• Ability to complete and submit required district credentialing forms promptly
