Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in LA

Providing full-time telespeech therapy services in the New Orleans area, this contract opportunity supports student communication development within a school setting. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours per week, structured as seven-hour days including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language pathology services via teletherapy to students, enhancing communication skills and addressing speech disorders.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with educational and support staff to ensure integrated therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district requirements.
• Complete mandated forms for district Human Resources processing prior to placement.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
• Experience in teletherapy service delivery preferred.
• Ability to manage and adapt caseload based on student needs (caseload size and age groups to be determined).
