Remote Speech Therapy in CT

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role is available for the upcoming academic year, focusing on 5th and 6th grade students in a Newtown, CT school setting. This onsite contract position is slated to begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and providing speech therapy to students in grades 5 and 6
• Managing a caseload effectively, utilizing evidence-based practices and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to enhance student communication skills
• Presenting Clinical Fellowships (CFY) and supporting professional development initiatives

Qualifications:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Eligibility or current status as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate
• Experience in a school-based setting delivering telespeech and onsite therapy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on student engagement and progress monitoring
