A virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available supporting homebound students in North Fort Myers, FL. This contract position involves providing teletherapy services to students enrolled in a virtual school program. The role is part-time, requiring commitment two days per week, totaling 15 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services via telepractice to homebound students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' needs.
- Collaborate with virtual school staff to monitor progress and adjust services accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant confidentiality policies.
- Participate in required training and credentialing updates.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health SLP license.
- Experience with teletherapy and virtual speech-language pathology services preferred.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively through virtual platforms.
- Completion of fingerprinting requirements as per Florida state regulations; prior fingerprint clearance or ability to obtain a JLA badge.
Location: North Fort Myers, FL (fully virtual services to students within the district).
Employment Details:
- Contract duration: August 11, 2026 – May 27, 2027.
- Part-time schedule: 2 days per week, 7.5 hours per day.
- Supporting Lee Virtual School homebound students.
- Formal contract and credentialing required prior to start.
