A virtual speech-language pathologist position is available to serve a diverse caseload of students ranging from general education to life skills programs within a 5th and 6th grade school setting. The role focuses on delivering teletherapy services, combining speech-only and speech as related services to approximately 60 students. Responsibilities also include case management for around 20 students, supporting varied needs through virtual push-in strategies for severe cases and pull-out sessions for self-contained environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual speech-language therapy services tailored to students’ individual needs.
  • Manage caseload effectively, maintaining detailed case management for 20 students.
  • Deliver services to a broad spectrum of learners, from general education to severe life skills populations.
  • Collaborate with a paraprofessional facilitator and a virtual school psychologist to enhance student outcomes.
  • Implement virtual push-in and pull-out services according to students’ program requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Illinois.
  • Active Licensed Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) credential.
  • Experience working with school-age children across multiple needs and settings.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and virtual care delivery.

Location: Danville, Illinois (Virtual)

Contract Duration: August 17, 2026 – June 4, 2027
