A remote opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver teletherapy services within educational environments. This position accommodates both full-time and part-time schedules, supporting students through virtual platforms while enabling professional flexibility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and individualized therapy sessions remotely
- Collaborating with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop tailored treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Utilizing digital tools effectively for therapy delivery and record management
- Staying current with best practices and continuing education in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state license to practice as an SLP and/or ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Minimum of two years’ experience in school or pediatric settings, with a preference for teletherapy experience
- Competence in using technology for virtual therapy sessions and administrative tasks
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to engage students remotely
- A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace are required
Location: Remote (with a focus on servicing students in the Opelika, AL area)
