An opening is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting located in Rockville, MD. This contract position spans the academic year from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with an expected commitment of 35 hours per week, typically across three full days.

Responsibilities include providing virtual speech-language pathology services to a caseload that varies by student age group, with elementary caseloads up to 40 students, middle school around 48, and peaking at approximately 57 students. Assignments will be tailored based on experience, skill set, and geographic location, ensuring alignment with professional comfort levels. Active coordination with the supervisor is essential for caseload management.

Qualifications and experience requirements:

  • Active Maryland license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Minimum of three years of virtual school-based experience post-COVID, with at least two years within the past five years
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Availability to work within the Eastern Standard Time zone
  • Successful completion of required credentialing including background checks and eligibility interviews
