The role is based in Rockville, MD, serving students in the Washington DC area from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027. This position offers a 35-hour workweek with the flexibility to work three full days per week, with caseloads varying by age group and peak times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language pathology services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Manage caseloads ranging from approximately 40 to 57 students, with assignments tailored by supervisors according to skillset and geographic location.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain compliance with school district policies and background check requirements.
- Utilize virtual platforms effectively to conduct therapy sessions within the Eastern Standard Time zone.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
- Active Maryland Speech Language Pathology licensure.
- Minimum of three years of virtual school-based speech therapy experience post-COVID, with at least two years within the last five years.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high caseloads and adapt services to remote delivery models.
