A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within the Maryland area. This full-time position requires work during the 2026-2027 academic year, with an expected start date of August 25, 2026, and an end date of June 11, 2027. The work schedule consists of 35 hours per week, adhering strictly to full-time availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide teletherapy speech and language services to students ranging from elementary through middle school age groups.
- Manage caseloads that may vary throughout the year, with a maximum of 40 students in elementary and up to 57 at peak times.
- Collaborate with supervisors to tailor caseloads based on experience, skill set, and geographical location.
- Maintain compliance with all credentialing and background check requirements specific to Maryland.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Active Maryland SLP licensure.
- Minimum of three years of virtual school-based speech-language pathology experience post-COVID, with at least two years within the last five years.
- Strong comfort and proficiency in delivering teletherapy services.
- Must be located in or able to work within the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.
Required Documentation:
- Up-to-date resume.
- Images of active Maryland SLP license.
- Three professional references.
- Successful completion of a House Bill background check.
- Passing results from a technical screening and internal eligibility interview.
