A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist providing services across elementary, middle, and high school settings in Suwanee, GA. The role involves delivering telepractice speech therapy and in-person support within school environments, working alongside licensed SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments and treatment planning for pediatric populations
- Implementing individualized therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices for students across grade levels
- Collaborating with educational staff and families to support student communication goals
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications sought:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within schools or healthcare settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Comfort and competence delivering telepractice services (telespeech)
- Previous school-based experience including work with elementary, middle, and high school students preferred
This full-time opportunity offers a 40-hour week, though part-time candidates will be considered. Medicaid billing is not required. The facility is located just 20 minutes north of Atlanta and 20 minutes west of Decatur, providing convenient access to metropolitan amenities. Comprehensive support is available through a team of additional SLPs and SLPAs.
