A contracted role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school-based telepractice, speech therapy via teletherapy, and traditional in-school services. This position is based in Syracuse, NY, providing specialized support for a student requiring both Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and Occupational Therapy (OT) services delivered in-home.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized SLP services remotely through teletherapy platforms and in-person as needed.
  • Collaborating with occupational therapists to support comprehensive in-home therapy plans.
  • Conducting assessments, developing treatment goals, and implementing therapy interventions tailored to student needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of progress notes and service delivery according to professional standards.
  • Communicating regularly with families, educators, and therapists to ensure cohesive care and alignment with educational or developmental objectives.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in telepractice methods, including telespeech and teletherapy.
  • Prior experience providing services in school settings.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with occupational therapy professionals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in liaising with students and families.
