An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to provide comprehensive speech therapy services in an elementary school setting. This position involves delivering support primarily to elementary-aged students through teletherapy and in-person methods.
Responsibilities include conducting thorough speech and language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to address speech, language, and communication disorders. Collaboration with educators and parents will be essential to support student progress and maximize outcomes.
Key qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare environments
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and effective remote service delivery
- Familiarity with elementary school speech-language caseloads
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required
This assignment is scheduled to begin in August 2026 and conclude in May 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours spread across five days. Services will be delivered at one elementary school located in West Columbia, SC. Caseload specifics will be provided during the interview process to ensure alignment with expertise and interests.
