A virtual speech-language pathologist opportunity is available to support a 5th and 6th grade caseload in Illinois. This contract role begins August 17, 2026 and runs through June 4, 2027, providing teletherapy services to a diverse student population including general education through severe life skills needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy via virtual platforms with a caseload of approximately 60 students.
- Manage approximately 20 cases involving speech only and speech as a related service.
- Provide virtual "push in" therapy for students with severe needs and pull-out sessions for those in self-contained classrooms.
- Collaborate with paraprofessional facilitators and a virtual psychologist to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to caseload and therapy progress.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Valid Illinois LBS1 certification.
- Experience delivering both teletherapy and managing mixed-ability caseloads preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage students virtually.
Location: Remote role serving students in the Danville, IL area with services provided via teletherapy.
