This opportunity focuses on delivering speech-language pathology services through virtual platforms for a school district in Alabama. The role involves providing both therapy and evaluation services to students across multiple elementary and magnet schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech therapy sessions and evaluations via teletherapy
- Manage and maintain a caseload not exceeding 60 students
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication needs
- Ensure compliance with state certification and school district guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Alabama ASHA certification
- Alabama Educator SLP certification or eligibility to obtain (pending applications accepted)
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
- Proficiency in delivering services through teletherapy platforms
Location and Work Schedule:
- Virtual position supporting multiple school sites including elementary and magnet schools
- Full-time hours totaling approximately 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration through May 27, 2027
